For over 20 years Jesi has worked passionately in the Sustainability field. Her life’s mission is to help support the sacred balance of humans and our precious planet. Through her service to the local and global community she found true environmental sustainability is impossible to achieve without internal sustainability. This led her through a journey of self-care and healing. Recognizing how imperative it is that we take care of our greatest asset and our temple; our body, mind, and spirit. She has become an advocate for wellness enjoying a vast array of modalities to include yoga, meditation, acupuncture, rolfing, chiropractic, homeopathy, and many more. When her husband introduced her to OsteoStrong and the idea of bringing it to the Boulder community she knew this was a powerful contribution to offer. She feels so honored and blessed to be able to bring this healing gift to the greater Boulder community to further her quest for true sustainability, working from the inside out.

Lesia grew up in Canada. Her family still lives there in the Rocky Mountains north of the Montana border and Glacier National Park. She was raised on a farm and believes her Mom was the original “100 foot, organic gardener”. Everything they ate came from the garden, the chickens, the cows, the pigs. She appreciates it now, but back then all she wanted was white, fluffy bread from the grocery store and a bowl of Froot Loops..
After finishing her undergrad degree (in French) she moved to Japan and lived there for 10 years. She is fluent in neither language but loves the cultures and food and credits her mother with her lifelong interest and love of food and nutrition. This inspired her to get her masters degree in nutrition and become a lifelong learner of all things nutrition.
Lesia and her husband have two children and enjoy skiing, mountain biking and hiking. She loves running and competing in road and cross country races. She shares her love of the sport by coaching an elementary/middle school cross country team for the past 15 years.
Angela holds a master’s degree in education and works as certified health coach specializing in behavioral modification to support men, women, and young adults seeking to improve their mental and physical wellbeing. Angela’s approach to wellness is highly centered around what she calls the “5-Pillars of Health”, including sleep, hydration, stress-management, movement, and nutrition.
By using her personal journey of healing through a stage IV cancer diagnosis, and recovering from an emotional eating disorder, she’s proudly taken back the reins of her own health. Since 2016, Angela has naturally lost 100lbs of undesired weight while improving her own self-awareness and body image, ultimately learning to shift unproductive habit cycles to better align with a health-conscious lifestyle.
Today she uses these same skills and principles to help others flip their story from “I’ve tried everything” to fully embracing lasting results and “feeling like themselves” maybe for the first time.
In her free time, Angela enjoys spending time with her family, caring for her pets and houseplants, and finding outlets for her creativity, be it cooking, painting, or sewing. On the weekends she can be found volunteering with various non profit organizations and community outlets and has recently retired from her role as a Stephen’s Minister.
